• The Ministry of ICT has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply, Install and Training for 3 Solar PV system and Solar Generator/ battery bank to support 3 CARCIP distribution sites in Grenada.

2. The Ministry of ICT now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply, Install and Training for 3 Solar PV systems and Solar Generator/ battery banks to support 3 CARCIP distribution sites in Grenada.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers – July 2016, Revised November 2017 and August 2018, November 2020, September 2024 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Officer via e-mail at axel.joseph@procurement.gov.gd

5. The bidding document in English may be requested by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by e-mail.

6. The deadline for bid submission is December 13th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. All bids should be submitted both Hard Copy and through the Electronic Procurement System. On receipt of the documents, a confirmation email would be sent acknowledging the names of the files received.

Electronic submission of bids will be permitted through the electronic procurement system, https://in-tendhost.co.uk/GND/aspx/Home bidders who desire to submit electronically are advised to register and submit all bids and queries through this portal.

All files submitted should be clearly labelled bid for Supply, Install and Training for 3 Solar PV systems and Solar Generator/ battery banks to support 3 CARCIP distribution sites in Grenada. The name of the firm should also be clearly stated.    

Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend using conferencing facilities such as MS Teams as specified below on December 20th, 2024 at 3:00pm.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.
