• This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in the Nat ional e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) dated 26/09/2023.
• The DAR ES SALAAM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY has received a Loan from the The World Bank and the Loan/Credit Number is IDA-63330. and the Loan/Credit Number is The Name of the Financing Institution is The World Bank and the Loari/Credit Number is IDA-63330 towards the cost of EAST AFRICA SKILLS FOR TRANSFORMATION AN D REGIONAL INTEGRATION PROJECT (EASTRIP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for Supply of and Laboratory ICT Equipment.
• The DAR ES SALAAM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY now invites tenders from Company Local, Special Group, Manufacturer Local, Sole Proprietor Local and Partnership Local of Supply of and Laboratory ICT Equipment.
• Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering method specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
• A complete set of tendering document(s) in English may be accessed through NeST.
• Tenderor are required to register on the NeST and pay the tender participation fee indicated in the NeST to be able to participate in this tendering process.
• All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the form of Tender Security - Bank Guarantee in the currency of The Tanzanian Shilling or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign Tenderers worth 46,058,000.00.
• All tenders must he properly fi lled in and submitted through NeST at or before 2:00 PM on 2 1/06/2024. Tenders wi 11 be opened promptly there after through NeST. Tender opening details will be available to the public through NeST.
• Tenders not received through NeST shall not be evaluated irrespective of the circumstances.
