• The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (GoSVG) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Unleashing the Blue Economy of the Caribbean (UBEC) Project – 3.0 Contingency Emergency Response Component (CERC) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Purchase of a bus.
• The Economic Planning Division within the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Information Technology now invites sealed quotations from eligible Suppliers for Purchase of a bus for the SVG Food Insecurity Project.
• Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Quotations (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Fifth Edition September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all Suppliers as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested eligible Suppliers may obtain further information from the Economic Planning Division of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Information Technology using the email addresses as stated below.
• The quotation document in English may be requested by interested eligible Suppliers upon the submission of a written application (by email or hand written) to the address below or by visiting the government’s procurement website procurement@gov.vc. The document will be sent by email.
• Quotations must be delivered to the address below on or before May 7, 2024, 1:00 p.m. (Local Time) Electronic bidding will be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Quotations will not be publicly opened.
