Jimma Rare Wored Agricultural office invites all eligible and qualified contractors of the category of Genera/Building Construction Contractors (BC-4/GC-5 and above) who are financially and technically capable of furnishing the necessary labor, material, and equipment cost of Construction of the Warehouse Project fund obtained from World Bank (FSRP) as described in the table below

• Jima Rare WoredaAgricultural Office now invites all contractors of category General/building contractors of GC-5/BC-4& above to construct a house in Wayu town.
• The bidder shall submit a certificate of registration or certificate of competence from the Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure/Oromia Construction Authority/ renewed for the current budget year (2024) and who have renewed their Trade license for the current year (2024) and who have got VAT registration certificate & Tax clearance certificate valid during the bidding period from Oromia Revenue Bureau/Federal Tax Authority.
• Bidding documents may be purchased from Jima RareWoreda Revenue Authority up to the submission of a written application and a non-refundable fee of 1000.00 (one thousand birrs) starting from April 2, 2024, G.C. during working hours.
• A bidder has to be registered to collect ‘VAT’, and copy the VAT Certificate, trade license, tax clearance, registration certificate, and registration in the PPA’s Suppliers List certificate must be attached with the application.
• All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in CPO or Bank guarantee of 300,000.00 (three hundred thousand birr) valid for 90 days after the date of bid opening. The bid security must be addressed to Jima Rare Woreda Agricultural Office
• The deadline for the bid submission (both the qualification and financial offers independently) shall be on or before 10:00 AM (4:00 local time) on May 2, 2024 G.C. The documents will be submitted to Jima RareWoredaVice Administration Office.
• Bids shall be opened on May 2, 2024, G.C. at 10:30 AM (4:30 local time) in the presence of

• Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at 10:30 A.M., on May 2, 2024 G.C. at the Jima RareWoredaVice Administration Office.
• The validity of the bid shall be 90 days from the date of bid opening.
• The construction of the work shall be completed within a maximum of 270 calendar days from the announcement date of the work.
• The contractor must visit the site before purchasing the bidding documents. The visit letter must be signed & stamped both with the Contractor and Jimatthe the RareWoredaAgricultural Office.
• Jima Rare Woreda Agricultural Office reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
• Any competitors or contractors for this project must prepare an environmental and social management plan (ESMP) document and be Approved by the Woreda Environmental Protection Authority.
