• The Government of Grenada has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of the Unleashing the Blue Economy of the Caribbean Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract[1] for the procurement of safety equipment to reduce accidents at sea.

2. The Ministry of Economic Development, Planning, and Cooperatives now invites quotations from eligible Bidders for the procurement of safety equipment to reduce accidents at sea.

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Quotations (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible vendors may obtain further information from Central Procurement Unit, Procurement Officer: beverley.jeremiah@procurement.gov.gd; procurementofficer1@procurement.gov.gd and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8:00 am and 4:00 pm at the address given below.

5. The quotation document in English Language may be requested by interested eligible vendors upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by PDF by email.

6. Quotes must be delivered to the address below on March 27, 2024, at or before 3:00 pm AST. Electronic submission of bids will be permitted. Late submissions will be rejected.
