• The Government of the Republic of Cameroon has received funding from the World Bank to finance the Lake Chad Region Recovery and Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract for the: construction works of one (01) Warehouse in Zina and construction works of 52 palces and 32-shops at the Arainaba market place in Zina council, Logone and Chari Divion, Far North Region.
• The Lake Chad Region Recovery and Development Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the construction works of one (01) Warehouse in Zina and construction works of 52-palces and 32-shops at the Arainaba market place in Zina council, Logone and Chari Divion, Far North Region.
• Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as defined in the World Bank"s "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing, July 2016 Edition, Revised in November 2017 and August 2018" ("Procurement Regulations"), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Project Implementation Unit, email : prolac.cameroun@gmail.com with copy to: bamabolie@gmail.comand inspect the Bidding document from Monday to Friday at the address given below: The Project Implementation Unit of the Lake Chad Region Recovery and Development Project, located in Kousséri in the residential area opposite the Central Police Station from 09:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. local time.
• The Bidding document in French may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of anon-refundable fee of seventy five thousand (75,000) CFA francs representing the cost of purchasing the file to account No. 335 988 60001 opened at the twelve (12) BICEC branches in the name of "CAS ARMP Special Account". The document will be sent by email as appropriate.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 05th April 2023 at 1 p.m. local time with the mention. “Open national Request for Bids, N°002/ONRB/MINEPRD/PROLAC/PIU/SPM/SJPM/2023 relating to the construction works of one (01) Warehouse in Zina and construction works of 52 palces and 32 shops at the Arainaba market place in Zina council, Logone and Chari Divion, Far North Region. to be opened only during the bid opening session". Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
• Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below 05th April 2023 at 2 p.m. local time.
• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of: two million five hundred thousand (2 500 000) CFA (lot 1) and one million three hundred thousand (1 300 000) CFA (lot 2) equivalent in a freely convertible currency.
