Project Category: Construction of Primary Farmers’ Cooperative Warehouse

• The Robe Woreda Finance office invites all eligible and qualified contractors of the category of Works Contractors (BC/GC) who have been licensed by the Ministry of Construction or Construction Authority) and who are financially and technically capable of furnishing the necessary labor, material, and equipment cost of construction of Habthe e Dengezela Farmers Cooperative Warehouse.
• Bidders must have a construction Trade license of grade BC/GC Capability of fulfilling all the responsive criteria of the Bid document and general and specific working experiences required by SBD.
• Bidders should have VAT registration, TIN No certificate, supplier list, Renewed trade license,Ta x clearance, Renewed BC/GC license for 2016 E.C
• The Successful bidders shall furnish 10% of the Contract price for the Performance Security bond, 20% of the Contract price for Advance payment, and 1% of the contract price for Environmental security from Unconditionathe l Bank Guarantee.
• Bidders Must accomplish Bid security of ETB 300,000.00 (Three hundred thousand ETB) in the form of unconditional Bank guarantee or CPO as expressed in the Bid Data Sheet.
• The bid security shall be valid for twenty-eight (28) days beyond the original validity period of the bid, or beyond any period of extension if requested under ITB 18.2. It has to be submitted in a separate envelope and marked “Bid security” which is stamped, and wax sealed. Failure to do this will result in automatic rejection.
• A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (five hundred birr only) from Robe woreda Finance Office Room No: 5, starting from 5 March 2024 G.C. up to 3 April 2024 G.C. • Bidders Must submit their bids to Robe Woreda Administration Office Room No.5 at 10:00 A.M morning on 4 April 2024 G.C.
• The Bid opening will be on the same place and Date at 10:30 AM Morning, in the Presence of the Bidders or their Legal Representatives, Who choose to attend, in the presence of the Woreda Project and Technical Committees. Late Bids will be rejected.
• The Bid should be submitted as per the SBD or Bid Datasheet. ITB 24.1(one outer mother envelope, and two inner mother envelopes (financial document &technical document), the financial mother envelope contains three financial documents (original financial, copy one financial, copy two financial) and the Technical mother envelope contains three technical documents (original technical, copy one technical, copy two technical) marking the envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPY”.
