The Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resource and Agriculture has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Transforming Fisheries Sector Management in South- West Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for : Palm and other trees removal and relocation at GA.Maanagaalaa.

The Ministry Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture (the Employer), wish to annul the initial bidding process advertised under reference number (IUL)30-TFSM/30/2023/186, and invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the : Palm and other trees removal and relocation at GA.Maanagaalaa.

Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” of July 2016, Revised November 2017 - (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11:00 hours of October 05th , 2023. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened on October 05th , 2023 at 11:00 hours in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below.

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of MVR 1,000.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa Twelve Thousand only) or US$ 65.00 (United States Dollars Sixty Five only) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
