• The Government of Malawi has received additional financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Southern Africa TB and Health Systems Support (SATBHSS) Project which is being implemented by Ministry of Health through the National TB & Leprosy Elimination Programme, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract Supply and Delivery of ICT Equipment for E-Health Expansion.

2. The Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply of the following items as follows;

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (Procurement in Investment Project Financing – Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services; July 2016, revised November 2017, August 2018 and August 2020) and its open to all interested bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from address in 7(a) and inspect the Bidding Documents at that address from 8:00am to 4:00 pm local time from Monday to Friday during working days.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders from the address in 7(a) and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of MK10,000.00. The method of payment will be Cash

6. Bids must be valid for a period of Ninety (90) Calendar days and must be delivered in sealed envelopes to the address in 7(b) at or before at 14:00 hours local time on 30th May, 2023. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address in 7(c) at 14:00 hours local time on 30th May, 2023.
