• The Government of Malawi has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of TACE, APA and Aqua Fish Projects, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of Six 4x4 Double Cabin Motor Vehicles with Canopy and Tow Bar:
• Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) Bunda College now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Six 4x4 Double Cabin Motor Vehicles with Canopy and Tow Bar.

3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement method using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations under Sections 5.3 to 5.4 National Procurement Procedures.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document during office hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. working

5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders to the address below (a) and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of MK10, 000.00. The method of payment will be Cash at the address below and the hard copies of the document will be provided and soft copies of the document will be sent to the email indicated on the bid collection sheet.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below 8 (b) on or before Thursday, 28th September, 2023 at 10:00am. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below 8 (c) on Thursday, 28th September, 2023 at 10:00am. Further, note that the quotes must be provided in US Dollars.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration Form and the Letter of Acceptance of the World Bank’s Anti-corruption Guidelines and Sanctions Framework.
