SPN - Angola - Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of the 400kv Huambo–Lubango Backbone Transmission Investment Project (BTIP) - ESEEP I ( - Тендер #45060768)

The Government of the Republic of Angola has received financing from the African Development Bank (AFDB) hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Energy Sector Efficiency And Expansion Program Phase I (ESEEP I), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under contracts for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of the 400kV Huambo–Lubango Backbone Transmission Investment Project (BTIP) ,

• Lot 1: Construction of the new 400/220/60 kV from Lubango substation with 2 x 450 MVA transformers and all associated Primary and Secondary Plant (including the MicroSCADA Supervision System); and the extension of the 400 kV Huambo substation of 400/220/60 kV and the Expansion of the 400/220/60 kV Substation in Belém in Huambo, equipping a new Line module at 400 kV along with associated primary and secondary equipment;
• Lot 2: Construction of a 400 kV Electric Power Transmission Line, of approximately 176 km, from the Belém in Huambo Substation to Caluquembe (Tower number 388), and,
• Lot 3: Construction of a 400 kV Electric Power Transmission Line, of approximately 168 km, from Caluquembe (tower number 388) to the future Lubango Substation.

For these contracts, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.
