Overview:
UN Women is seeking to contract an NGO which will support strengthening the service provision and knowledge and capacities of CSO frontline workers on providing timely and quality services to
women and girls in all their diversity, especially the most vulnerable and affected by the crisis, including by applying GBV intersectoral protocols with focus on case management, minimum standards to be applied for the service provision and
referral pathways based on national legal framework for refugees and host communities in line with Istanbul Convention provisions.
The selected Civil Society Organization will fulfil the following tasks:
Develop the detailed work plan and methodology, containing timeframes, a brief description of the activities to be undertaken, and corresponding team members responsible for each activity
under the assignment, etc.;
Conduct a desk review on national and international framework regarding the minimum quality standards for VAW service providers, including case management aspects;
Take part in meetings around Restart reform and standard package of services;
Organize tailored meetings/consultations with relevant stakeholders (central public authorities, national and local CSOs, etc.) on challenges, lessons learned and best practices in applying
the minimum quality standards for VAW support services;
Develop the Guideline on minimum quality standards for CSOs providing VAW support services adjusted to the national context based on the local practices;
Present and validate in separate dedicated event the Guideline on minimum quality standards for VAW support services to relevant stakeholders;
Ensure the coordination among relevant stakeholders for the revision of the minimum quality standards for both state and CSOs service providers, including case management issues in line
with Government needs and ongoing reforms (e.g.: GBV working group, etc.);
Ensure effective collaboration where necessary with other relevant organizations, stakeholders (e.g.: NGOs members of National Coalition Life without Violence, UN Gender Theme Group, GBV
working group, Government Inter-ministerial Committee on prevention and combating domestic violence);
Develop a final report, which should include the information regarding the activities conducted, lessons learnt, challenges and recommendations.
