Overview:

UNICEF LRPS-2023-9183542 Passenger transportation services under Long Term Agreement (LTA)

UNICEF Moldova invites interested companies to submit their proposals for provisions of passenger transportation services

Objectives:

The overall objective of setting up the LTAs is to facilitate and speed up purchasing of professional national passenger transportation services for UNICEF Moldova Country office. The companies to be engaged in LTAs through a competitive process shall provide services along the LTAs duration on a fixed price basis.

Qualifications and experience:

Company and personnel

• Company registered and licensed as per national law transportation company with at least 3 years of experience of providing passenger transportation services
• A minimum fleet of 8 service vehicles owned/leased/subcontracted
• Previous work experience with UN Agencies or on similar corporate arrangements will be an asset
• Ability to take orders upon short notice
• Ability to deliver within the agreed strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality
• Ability to promptly sub-contract vehicles to ensure the services are delivered on time and of the required quality
• Quality control and feedback mechanism
• Provide one or more focal points that can be contacted at all times who is responsible for liaising with UNICEF. English proficiency will be an asset
• Ensure enough experienced and qualified personnel are available to respond, within a reasonable extent, to emergency situations and rapid response outside of regular working hours, if necessary
• UNICEF reserves the right to request the assignment of additional personnel or the replacement of personnel dealing with UNICEF orders, and the Contractor shall comply with such requests
• After the services were performed the company will issue the invoice, proforma invoice and travel log report.

Drivers:

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the licensed category
• Able to communicate in English (required in specific cases and requested in advance)
• Very good knowledge of the country and road networks
• Polite, courteous and discreet; dress-code respected
• Alert always and able to be responsive to the road and driving conditions
• Always maintain safe speed and follow the shortest route to their destination
• Clean history of accidents involving driver’s negligence, drunk driving, overspeeding
• Non-smoking during driving
• Equipped with hands-free phone headset at all times

Proposals should be submitted in 2 separate e-mails: Technical Proposal and Request for Proposal for Services Form (page 3-5 of the LRPS-2023- 9183542) in one e-mail and another separate e-mail for the Price Proposal.

E-mail subject should contain the number of the Request for proposals LRPS-2023- 9183542.
