1. The Eastern Nile Technical Regional Office (ENTRO) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Promotion of Sustainable Development and Planning in the Eastern Nile Region (ENTRO), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract to carry out “Supply and delivery of Power Back Up (Integrated Mini Data Center at Eastern Nile Technical Regional Office, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia”

2. The Eastern Nile Technical Regional Office (ENTRO) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to carry out “Supply and delivery of Backup Storage Server at Eastern Nile Technical Regional Office, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia”

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011, revised July 2014(“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address (8) given below from 9:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be obtained by interested eligible bidders ENTRO website http://entro.nilebasin.org/tender .

6. Bids must be delivered to the address (8) below on or before 3:00 pm, 28th March 2023 at 3:00 PM local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address (9) below on the same day starting at 3:30pm local time.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of Ethiopian Birr 110,000(One Hundred Ten Thousand Ethiopian Birr) or USD 2000 or freely convertible in the form of CPO

8. Insert this paragraph if applicable in accordance with the Procurement Plan: “Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.”]
