1. The Republic of Tajikistan has received additional financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Program for Aral Sea Basin Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of wheeled excavators for WUAs.

2. The Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for procurement of wheeled excavators.

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016; revised in November 2017, August 2018 and 4th Edition November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 08:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. Dushanbe time from Monday till Friday at the address given below.

5. The bidding document in English language may be received by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address given below.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before March 28, 2023 10:00 (Dushanbe time). Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on March 28, 2023, 10:10 (Dushanbe time).

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of USD 36 000.
