• Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika-BMKG (Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysical Agency) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Indonesia Disaster Resilience Initiatives Project (IDRIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Facilities and Infrastructures for School of Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics (STMKG) Phase II.

• Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika-BMKG (Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for EEWS Development as per detail in Bid Data Sheet. Delivery period is maximum 210 days after signing contract.

3. Bidding will be conducted through NATIONAL COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, Revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from POKJA IDRIP Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika and inspect the bidding document during office hours 07.30 to 16.00 Jakarta Time through email address: pokja.idrip@bmkg.go.id.

5. The bidding document in the English language can be downloaded by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. No payment needed for the bidding documents. The document, which is in electronic file can be download from below website

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before March 13th, 2024 at 01.00 pm Jakarta time. Electronic Bidding will be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives virtually on March 13th, 2024 at 01.30 pm Jakarta time (West Indonesia Time).

7. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.

8. Bid Security is not applicable. Bid Securing Declaration is required.

9. This package is still awaiting approval of the Annual Work Plan (AWP), so the contract signature can only be done once the AWP is approved.
