• The Government of Ghana has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ghana Landscape Restoration and Small-Scale Mining Project (GLRSSMP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payment under the contract for Supply and Installation of Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Equipment

• The Ghana Landscape Restoration and Small-Scale Mining Project (GLRSSMP-MLNR PCU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and Installation of Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Equipment as indicated in the detailed Technical Specifications under the Request for Bids as summarized below:

3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016, Revised November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020 and applicable to Investment Project Financing (IPF) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. It is mandatory that Bidders submit the following requirements and statutory documents

• Brochures - photographs, model/series, codes/numbers, technical specifications sheets and any other material that could assist the purchaser to verify the quality standards of the products
• Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate.
• Valid VAT Registration Certificate
• Valid Evidence of Registration with Public Procurement Authority (PPA)
• Company’s Registration Certificate.
• Company’s Certificate to Commence Business
• Current Four (4) years certified Audited Financial Statement (2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021/2022)
• Manufacturers’ Authorization (if the supplier is not the manufacturer)
• Power of Attorney
• Statement of aftersales service for Five (5) years
• Warranty Statement for Three (3) years
• Installation and training proposal

Or download https://glrssmp.mlnr.gov.gh/procurement/ or https://tenders.ppa.gov.gh/tenders/ upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana cedis (GHC1,000.00). The method of payment will be cash.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address (2) below on or before 1400 hours on 22nd September 2023. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on Friday, 22nd September 2023 at 1400 hours.

8. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as indicated in the table above.

9. “Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.”
