The Government of the Republic of Ghana has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the eTransform Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of computer equipment using thin client solution to be installed in 232 laboratories in 232 Senior High Schools in Ghana.
The Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the following:

The bid is packaged into two (2) lots as follows:

All bids must be accompanied by brochures, photographs and other technical documentation of the items to be supplied. Bidders may quote for one or both lots.

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” 4th Edition dated November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the address below and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1700 at the address given below.

5. The bidding document in English may be downloaded or emailed free of charge. Soft copies of the bidding documents are available free of charge online, but hard copies may additionally be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$200 (for foreign bidders) or GHS1,200 (for local bidders). The method of payment will be cash or bank draft in the name of the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation. The document may be directly downloaded from the website (www.moc.gov.gh;) and/or collected at the address given below. The document will be sent by courier upon specific written request and payment of an additional non-refundable amount for US$200.00 for overseas delivery costs or GHS250.00 for local delivery costs by the bidder.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 a.m. local time on September 28, 2023. Electronic Bidding will be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the currency stated or any freely convertible currency.
