Georgia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Log-In Georgia Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Fiber Optic (passive) Infrastructure Deployment: Phase 3 (Chiatura-Sachkhere). In addition to IBRD financing, Georgia is also anticipating joint co-financing by European Investment Bank (EIB). Bidding process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations. A Bidder must sign an adapted EIB Covenant of Integrity.

The N(N)LE OPEN NET now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Fiber Optic (passive) infrastructure construction in the settlements of Chiatura and Sachkhere Municipalities, with the duration of works of 360 days. No margin of preference is applied. Qualifying criteria to award the contract can be found in Bidding Document.

Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” dated July 2016 (revised on November 2017 and August 2018) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information on the bidding and bidding documents on “Georgian Electronic - Government Procurement System (Ge-GP)” portal of State Procurement in Georgia (http://procurement.gov.ge/ ) at the following link: https://tenders.procurement.gov.ge/public/?go=531744&lang=ge (the Bidding documents in English can be downloaded for free).

Bids must be delivered electronically using “Georgian Electronic - Government Procurement System (Ge-GP)”, (http://procurement.gov.ge/ ).

Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened electronically.
