Contract Title: Procurement of Industrials, Finishing Construction materials, Water Line Installation Materials and Local Constructions Materials.

1. The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds to ward payments under the contract for procurement of local Construction Materials.

2. The Shashemene City Administration Finance office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specifiedin the World Bank"s Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRDLoans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Shashamene City Administration Finance office Around From 81 Total Gas Station to Abosto far side 300m Department of procurement and property administration and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 2:30 AM-5:30 PM (local time)at the address given below.

5. A complete set ofbidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 1000 birr. The method of payment will be bank. The document will be sent hand.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before-_________at 4:00 AM (Local Time) and will be open the same day at 4:30 AM (Local Time) on Announcement of the Ethiopian Herald. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
