Contract Title:- Procurement of Personal Safety and protection Materials.

• The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net and Jobs Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of Safety Materials
• The Adama City Administration Finance Office now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for;-

3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB)as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Adama City Administration Finance office Around Ethiopian Post Office far side 200m,In front of Rift Valley University HospitalAdama CityAdministration Complex Biulding3rd Floor Department of procurement and property administration and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8:30 AM– 5:30 PM (local time) at the address given below.

5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 500 Birr. The method of payment will be by Sinqe bank Account 1054551161211. The document will be sent by /delivered/ on hand.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 9/2/2026 at 2:00PM (Local Time) and will be open the same day at 2:30PM (Local Time) on Announcement of the Ethiopian Herald.. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below striate address at the end of this invitation and also bidders should submit sealed bid documents containing one original and one copy.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security “CPO or unconditional Guarantee issued by a Bank for Lot-=15,000 Birr; Lot-2 =200,000 Birr from a reputable Bank prepared in the name of Adama City Administration Finance office

8. The Adama City Administration Finance office reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid.
