Contract Title: - Procurement of Personal Safety and protection Materials.

The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward Payments under the contract for procurement of Industrialsconstructionmaterials lot 1, Finishing Construction Materials lot 2, Water Line Installation Materials lot 3 and Local Construction Materials lot4.

• The Asella City Administration Finance office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

• Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as Specified in the World Bank"s:“Procurement Goods, Works and non-consulting service under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers("Procurement Guideline"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in The Procurement Guidelines.
• The bidders license related to our invitation must be valid for years 2018 E.c, submit Tax clearance, TIN and VAT registration.
• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Asella City Administration Finance office in front of Asella branch Ethiopian Electric utility Department Asella city Moyer building G+0 Room number 4 of procurement and property administration and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 8:30 AM- 5:30 PM (local time) at the address given below.
• A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 1000.00 birr. The method of payment will be deposit in Sinqee Bank Account No 1051274171218Asella Finance Office.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before-----------2026 at 2:00 PM (Local Time) and will be open the same day at 2:30PM (Local Time) on 30th calendar Days from Announcement of the Ethiopian Herald. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at the end of this invitation and also bidders should submit sealed bid documents containing one original and two copies.
• All bids must be accompanied by a "Bid Security "CPO or unconditional Guarantee issued by a Bank for Lot-1, 118,000 Birr Lot 2- 19,000.00 Birr/ and Lot 3-4,000.00 Birr Lot 4- 130,000 Totally for Lot 1,2,3& 4 are = 271,000.00 /two hundred thousand seventy one thousand birr only/ from a reputable Bank prepared in the name of Asella City Administration Finance office.
• The Asella City Administration Finance office reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid.
