Lepingu esemeks on Töövõtja poolt töövõime hindamiseks vajalike eksperdiarvamuste andmine, samuti Tellija nõustamine ja selgituste andmine eksperdiarvamuste osas ning eksperdiarvamustele tuginevalt tehtud töövõime hindamise otsuste vaidlustamisel (edaspidi nimetatud ka Teenus). Töövõtja poolt osutatava Teenuse ulatus ja kohustuste/ülesannete detailsem kirjeldus on sätestatud riigihanke „Töövõime hindamise eksperdiarvamuste tellimine tervishoiuteenuse osutajalt” tehnilises kirjelduses, samuti tulenevad Teenuse osutamise tingimused töövõime hindamist ja tervishoiuteenuste osutamist reguleerivatest õigusaktidest. Lisaks Lepingus ja selle lisades sätestatud kohustustele kuulub ilma täiendava tasu maksmiseta Töövõtja kohustuste hulka ka nende ülesannete, tööde ja teenuste osutamine, mis ei ole Lepingu dokumentides otseselt toodud, kuid mille tegemine Töövõtja poolt oleks Tellija eesmärgi saavutamiseks tavapäraselt vajalik.
