Overview:Since 2009, China"s polar scientific expeditions have been specially equipped with the Ka-32 helicopter, which has strong transportation support capabilities and is named "Xueying 102". The Ka-32 helicopter is a twin-engine utility helicopter designed and developed by Russia"s Kamov Helicopter Company. It is equipped with two gas turbine engines and features a coaxial contra-rotating twin rotor system. With strong wind resistance, it can be used in forest aerial fire fighting, urban fire fighting, search and rescue operations, complex high-rise building installation, offshore operations, and other scenarios. This procurement is for the float equipment supporting the K-32 helicopter.
