Notification of awarding contract—Integrated land-sea ecosystems conservation and wise use project in Fuding, Province of Fujian LOT 1-A:Technical Assistance on ecology and project implementation

The following consultants have been evaluated to be proposed the successful candidates for Consulting Service of Integrated land-sea ecosystems conservation and wise use project in Fuding, Province of Fujian Lot 1-A:Technical Assistance on ecology and project implementation


1. Joint Venture of China International Economic Consultants Co., Ltd, Phytorestore, Powerchina Zhongnan Engineering Co., Ltd, Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is ranked No. 1 with the technical score of 74.86, financial score of 18.06, total score of 92.92.The bid price is the amount of EURO 7,213,910.50(excluding taxes) and the estimated amount of these applicable taxes, duties and fees in the Client’s country is EURO 432,834.63, all taxes shall be paid by consultant.

2. Joint Venture of Nordiq Engineering Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd, Powerchina Huadong Engineering Corporation Limited, Third Institute of Oceanography of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Agenceter, is ranked No. 2 with the technical score of 70.48, financial score of 20.00, total score of 90.48.The bid price is the amount of EURO 6,513,601.06(excluding taxes) and the estimated amount of these applicable taxes, duties and fees in the Client’s country is EURO 390,816.06, all taxes shall be paid by consultant.

3. Joint Venture of Shenzhen BLY Landscape and Architectural Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd, CCC Water Transportation Consultants Co.,Ltd, Biotope SAS, Arcadis Shanghai Limited, Shenzhen Guoyi Gardens Construction Co.,Ltd., is ranked No. 3 with the technical score of 68.82 financial score of 18.42, total score of 87.24.The bid price is the amount of EURO 7,072,270.00 (excluding taxes) and the estimated amount of these applicable taxes, duties and fees in the Client’s country is EURO 466,769.82, all taxes shall be paid by consultant.

The BEC recommends awarding the contract to the lst ranked candidate—— Joint Venture of -China International Economic Consultants Co,Ltd,-Phytorestore-Powerchina Zhongnan Engineering Co.,Ltd,-Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with the total price of Euro 7,213,910.50 (excluding taxes), all taxes shall be paid by consultant.

The PEA has completed the contract negotiation with the lst ranked candidate— Joint Venture of China International Economic Consultants Co., Ltd, Phytorestore, Powerchina Zhongnan Engineering Co., Ltd, Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, The process of Award of Contract will be initiated in accordance with the RFP.
