Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for Provision of Tire Road Service on Disabled Metrolinx Buses

Bus Fleet Maintenance currently services a fleet of more than 545 vehicles comprising MCI D4500, MCI D45-CRT, ADL Enviro 500 SuperLo (DDS), and two (2) electric buses.
The bus fleet is maintained in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer recommendations, Metrolinx internal guidelines about Asset Management, as well as Metrolinx Engineering and Quality Assurance Departments recommendations. Maintaining the Fleet in a State of Good Repair is essential to delivering service excellence.
Metrolinx is seeking a Vendor for the provision of Tire Road Service for Metrolinx operated heavy-duty transit and highway buses, on a twenty-four (24) hour a day, seven (7) day a week basis.
The tender is to include the supply of labour, purchase, install, superintendence, plant, tools, appliances, delivery replacement, delivery and/or duty, travel or mileage related expenses, disposal, environmental fees, materials and equipment and any other expenses required to provide Tire Road Service. All costs related to this scope of work shall be provided as flat charge on the Pricing Schedule.


Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion.
