This project has been initiated to improve the thermal performance of the dormer windows on the top level of the East Memorial Building (EMB), Ottawa. The Scope of work will include new interior storm windows with thermal glass. The existing windows will not be removed but some minor repairs will be required. All information is outlined in detail withing the Design drawings and specification. We are asking for a contractor with past experience of working on heritage windows or similar work. Prior to award BGIS will be requesting confirmation and past history with references. The contractor should review all documents including but not limited to the Tender Drawings and Specification for the Full Scope.
