Signed Tenders marked “Tender for City of Port Alberni, ITT005-26 Josephine Sanitary Forcemain Replacement – Contract 2” will be received at the City of Port Alberni, Purchasing Department, 4850 Argyle Street, Port Alberni, BC, or by email, up to 2:00 pm local time, on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Tenders will not be opened in public. The results of the opening will be emailed to Tenderers following the opening. Any Tenders received after the stated opening time will be returned to the tenderer unopened.

The work includes the installation of a new sanitary sewer forcemain along the City’s wastewater treatment lagoon access road, located off Shoemaker Bay Road, as well as associated tie-ins to the existing Josephine Street Lift Station in Port Alberni, British Columbia. The scope of work comprises the supply and installation of approximately 570 m of 350 mm DR21 HDPE pipe and 6 m of 200 mm DR21 HDPE pipe, a custom stainless-steel header, valves, air valve and flush-out assemblies, two bridge crossings, and tie-ins to the existing flow meter chamber, lift station, and Contract 1 section of forcemain.
