Description

This Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) is issued by Cardston County (the County) for companies to indicate their interest in, and their qualifications to be a General Contractor for the replacement of Bridge File 693. Construction is expected to be completed in 2026. Based on the Responses to the RFPQ, the County intends to short-list companies to participate in the Tender stage, which would be the final step in the Competitive Selection Process. The replacement structure will consist of a 2.4 m dia. CSP’s (3.5mm wall thickness) x 65.0m invert length on a 26-degree left hand forward skew to Range Rd 25-1

Scope of Work includes but is not limited to:
- Excavation – Structural, Channel, Common (Approximately 4500 Cubic Metres)
- Backfill – Crushed Granular – Des. 2 Class 25/40 (Approximately 850 Cubic Metres)
- Backfill – Non-Granular (Clay Seals) (Approximately 200 Cubic Metres)
- Class 2 Heavy Rock Riprap (Approximately 170 Cubic Metres)
- Borrow Excavation (Approximately 6000 Cubic Metres)
- Supply of Aggregate – Gravel Surfacing (Approximately 640 Tonnes)
- Gravel Surfacing – Des. 4 Class 20 (Approximately 640 Tonnes)
- Topsoil Placement (Approximately 5300 Square Metres)
- Hydroseeding (Approximately 5300 Square Metres)
- Removal and Disposal of Existing Fence (Approximately 250 Metres)
