The Municipality of Central Manitoulin is seeking proposals from qualified Information Technology (IT) service providers to supply IT maintenance, monitoring, and support services for the
Municipality’s computing environment.
The Municipality’s primary office is located at 6020 Highway 542, Mindemoya, Ontario with a fire hall locate at 6369 Highway 542, Mindemoya, Ontario and municipal works road shed located at 7
Lakeshore Road, Mindemoya, Ontario.
The current IT environment consists of approximately:
• 12 desktop workstations
• 9 laptop computers
• 1 digital sandbox discovery station
• Network infrastructure and printers
• Standard office productivity and municipal software
As part of this contract, the successful proponent will also be responsible for assisting with the installation and configuration of a new municipal server environment.
The Municipality anticipates that most services may be able to be provided remotely, with onsite visits when required.
This position will function primarily as an on-call IT support service, with work performed as needed rather than through full-time onsite staffing.
