Description

This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Province of Nova Scotia (the "Province") as represented herein by the Minister of Service Nova Scotia, for and on behalf of the Nova Scotia Health Authority ("NSHA", and together with the Province, "Nova Scotia"), to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Waste Removal Services for Facilities in the Nova Scotia Health Authority Eastern Zone

The three Geographic Categories of General Waste Removal included in this RFP are defined by region and further described by section D.1 - The Deliverables and defined below:
Geographic Category A - Includes facilities in Cape Breton County
Geographic Category B - Includes facilities in Inverness and Victoria Counties
Geographic Category C - Includes facilities in Antigonish, Guysborough, and Richmond Counties

The mandatory site visits will be held at the following locations and times: - March 24, 2026 - St Martha’s Regional Hospital, 25 Bay Street, Antigonish, NS. Proponents will meet a duly authorized representative of the NSHA at the front entrance on Bay St. at 9:00 AM Atlantic Time. - March 25, 2026 - Cape Breton Regional Hospital, 1482 George Street, Sydney, NS. Proponents will meet a duly authorized representative of the NSHA at the front entrance on George St. at 9:00 AM Atlantic Time.
