Description

Lake Babine Nation is home to 27 reserve lands, with five communities: Fort Babine (Wit’at), Old Fort (Nedo’ats), Tachet, Donald’s Landing, and Woyenne. Fort Babine (IR 6) is located at the tip of Babine Lake, approximately 100 km north of smithers that services approximately 70 peoples, and 49 services connections. Tachet (IR 25) is located on the Fulton River as it enters Babine Lake, and it services approximately 100 people, with 37 service connections. The daily volume average is 65 m3/day and Tachet CWS is 45 m3/day for Fort Babine and Tachet, respectively. This RFP will focus on the water systems for Fort Babine (IR 6) and Tachet (IR 25)

The goal of the project will be to develop a plan to address deficiencies to ensure safe and reliable drinking water to the community members connected to the Tachet (IR 25) Community Water System and Fort Babine (IR 6) Community Water System
