This RFP applies to and governs the preparation of Proposals for the Contract listed above. The Contract is generally for the following work:
• Prelocating existing utilities including Teck drain line, 500mm high-pressure concrete main, and sanitary services along Spokane Street.
• Replacement of approximately 160m of water main, including service connections to five properties and four tieins to existing infrastructure, and an Optional field fit tie-in to a 500mm
high-pressure concrete main.
• Replacement of approximately 140m of sanitary main, including service connections to six properties.
• Replacement of approximately 130m length of storm main, including new outfall to Mark Creek and associated work near a watercourse.
• Corridor improvements including a traffic circle, curb and gutter, raised bike lane, sidewalk and signage.
• Additional considerations to maintain property access including emergency access and post and parcel delivery to residential and commercial properties where frontage or access are impacted,
including properties along Ross Street where sole access may be obstructed during construction.
• Traffic management during construction including both road traffic and pedestrian traffic around the Platzl area.
A non-mandatory site visit will be held on March 17, 2026 at 10:00am MDT at The East Entrance of the Kimberley Platzl near the intersection of Kimberley Ave. and Spokane St.
