Description

School District No. 71 (Comox Valley) invites expressions of interest from experienced childcare operators for the use at multiple schools as per Appendix C to provide before and after school care to children in kindergarten to Grade 5 beginning September 2026. The lease rate is $5 per square meter for the allowable childcare spots per licensing requirements. Utility costs are included in this rate but WiFi is not. Custodial costs are included in this rate for shared spaces only. These rates are subject to annual review by SD71. It is expected services will be provided from 7:00 to 5:30 on school days.
