The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proposals from qualified Proponents for the Roundabout (30 Street NE & 11 Avenue NE) project

The Services can be briefly summarized as follows:

• Construction of a roundabout located in Salmon Arm at the intersection of 30 Street NE & 11 Avenue NE. This proposed roundabout includes the following features:
• 910 Lineal Meters of Concrete Curb and Gutter
• 630 Square Meters of Concrete Placement
• Allan Block Retaining Wall Installation
• Common Excavation including Asphalt, Concrete, Curb and Gutter, Fences, and Existing Road Structure, among others
• 4,000 Square Meter of 450 mm Thick Granular Subbase
• 4,000 Square Meters of 100-150 mm Thick Granular Base
• 3,700 Square Meters of Upper and Lower Course Asphalt
• Permanent and Thermoplastic Pavement Markings
• 2000 Square Meters of 150 mm Thick Imported Topsoil and Seeding
• Various Utility Adjustments (Raising / Lowering Storm and Sanitary Manholes)
• Installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB)
• Installation of light poles, instrumentation, electrical servicing, junction boxes and pole relocation
• Removal of existing trees
