Description

The AMDS device has been demonstrated in many large series to be safe and reduce mortality compared to historical control in Type A Dissection complicated by malperfusion. Favorable aortic remodeling has also been widely reported. The device has been approved in Canada and Europe. FDA has granted a Humanitarian Device Exemption (HDE) for use of the AMDS Hybrid Prosthesis (AMDS).
Artivion, Inc. dba CryoLife Canada, Inc. is the only supplier in the market that manufactures, market, sell and distribute Ascyrus Medical Dissection Stent (AMDS) device which is Health Canada approved.
