The existing exhaust fan serving the mechanical room is no longer operational and must be replaced. This mechanical room contains equipment including a sump pump, which can generate unpleasant odors that migrate into adjacent areas, including the link corridor in Building C. A properly designed and functioning exhaust system is required to maintain acceptable indoor air quality and prevent odor transfer.

The consultant will provide full design services for the replacement of the exhaust fan and any associated system upgrades required to ensure reliable ventilation and odor control.
