Description

The Owner invites tenders for:
Construction of water main replacement work on Foster Drive and on Summers Street in the District of Lillooet.

The project includes the following components:
 Construction of 228 metres of 200mm diameter PVC C900 D18 water main works on Foster Drive and within statutory right-of-way.
 Construction of 203 metres of 200mm diameter PVC C900 DR 18 water main works on Summers Street.
 Work includes pipe includes fittings and appurtenances shown in the drawings, installation of one new hydrant and relocation of an existing hydrant.
 All new watermain installations must be flushed, pressure tested and proven to be microbiologically safe prior to tie-in to the Lillooet water distribution system.
 Work includes tie-ins where necessary in timely manner to ensure residents’ water supply is interrupted for the shortest period of time.
 Work includes excavation that will impact on no more than half of the existing paved road surface.
 Excavation includes works on CN Rail right of way. Their standards for construction must be followed at all times when on the ROW.
 Works includes road subbase and base gravel reconstruction and hot asphalt paving works.

A pre-tender submission project briefing and a site meeting is planned for March 10, 2026, at 10:00 am, starting at Municipal Hall located at 615 Main Street, Lillooet, BC) with a following site visit. Meeting attendance is not mandatory.
