The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), through the Canadian Forces Health Services Group (CF H Svcs Gp), has a requirement for the supply of Electrosurgical Units (ESUs) with compatible Smoke
Evacuators to replace their existing devices which have reached their end of service life. These ESUs and Smoke Evacuators will be used in operating rooms, both domestically and in deployed
field settings, when performing various surgical.
The initial requirement is for eleven (11) ESUs and for eleven (11) Smoke Evacuators to be delivered to Petawawa, Ontario, Canada, as outlined in Annex A – Requirement of the Request for
Proposal (RFP).
Additionally, the option to procure up to fifty (50) ESUs, up to fifty (50) Smoke Evacuators, up to sixty-one (61) Wheeled Carts, up to twelve (12) Operator Training sessions, and up to three
(3) Technical Service Training sessions throughout the period of the contract, as outlined in Annex A – Requirement of the Request for Proposal (RFP).
