Description

Recreation Center North (Rec North) features a 101,000 square foot facility located in the heart of UBC’s Vancouver Campus. Rec North features three gymnasium courts; an elevated, indoor 200m track; a four-level fitness centre; multipurpose studios as well as changing facilities. Rec North recently opened in July 2025 and was constructed to a LEED Gold green building standard and is Rick Hansen Foundation Certified. The facility is open to students, staff, faculty, community and the public.

The objective of this project is the sourcing, procurement, delivery and installation of 3 categories of fitness equipment:

a. Strength/Weight Machines and existing equipment move;
b. Platforms; and
c. Cardio
