Description

The Summer Villages on Sylvan Lake are seeking proposals from qualified professionals to provide Arborist Consulting services. Services included but not limited to Tree Hazard Identification and Risk rating using TRAQ methods, GPS Tagging and GIS Mapping of hazards, provision of procurement ready work plans and prescriptions for healthy urban forest management, review and assessment of newly planted trees to monitor health, consulting and recommendations for planting programs to revegetate over-disturbed/negatively impacted forest areas. Furthermore, awarded proponent will support administration in assessing trees in public spaces where complaints/concerns are identified by the residents and general public. The Summer Villages are seeking experienced professionals to contribute to the beautification, overall forest health, and public safety throughout each community. Note this RFP was designed for consulting services only, and awarded proponent will not be considered for vegetation removal programs within the timeline listed in this RFP in order to mitigate financial conflicts of interest.
