Description

The Town of Canmore is requesting proposals from qualified proponents to complete bush-pile debris mechanical mulching on 57 hectares of harvested CNC East Upper fireguard. The Town of Canmore may provide the successful proponent with the opportunity for a contract extension to include the South Boundary fireguard (estimated 176 ha) bush-pile mulching in 2026-2027 based on performance and if the proponent is agreeable to the same or similar fixed price per hectare as the CNC East Upper fireguard.

A MANDATORY SITE VIEWING WILL BE HELD February 26, 2026 09:00-12:00 HRS STARTING AT THE CANMORE NORDIC CENTRE MAIN PARKING LOT. ATV’s are recommended in case of poor road conditions in the fireguard.
