Description

• The Office of the Fire Marshal is the employer for the Northern Fire Protection Program, which supports approximately 800 volunteer firefighters serving 47 unincorporated communities across Northern Ontario.
  
  The OFM is responsible for supplying NFPP firefighters with NFPA 1970 (2025 Edition), CSA Z195, and EN ISO 17249 Class 2 or 3-certified structural rubber boots and associated warranty services.
• Scope of Work
  The Ministry requires NFPA 1970 (2025 Edition), CSA Z195, and EN ISO 17249 Class 2 or 3-certified structural rubber boots to provide protection during structural firefighting operations where thermal, physical, and chainsaw hazards may be encountered.
