The desired services and support will reflect the philosophy and legal requirements of the Child, Youth, and Family Enhancement Act (CYFEA) supports the development of well-being to children,
youth, and families while keeping them safe and protected. Child Intervention services encompass the core principles of safety first, promoting permanency and differential response to safety
and well-being through a range of interventions. It is our desire for all child intervention services and support to be developmentally focused, family-involved, relationship based,
competency-centered, trauma informed and individualized to the client served.
The service will support two youth through the CFS Transition to Adulthood Program (TAP) with living supportive arrangements. Specifically, positive attachments will be built and supported in
which services emphasize building healthy relationships and keeping youth connected to their extended family and community. These services will also support youth through promoting stability,
health, and well-being physically, emotionally, and academically. Positive attachments will be built and supported; emphasis will be placed on building healthy relationships with other people;
minimizing the number of disruptions; offering skills that will result in transitioning to adulthood and life skills development; and keeping youth connected to their extended family and
community.
