Description

Through this Request for Proposals, the City of Penticton invites submissions for the construction of a playground and splashpad at Lakawanna Park consisting of:
• 3,500 square meters of new playground and spray park on an existing park site, including conversion of a portion of existing parking lot conversion to park space;
• demolition of existing site features;
• supply and installation of a new playground and splash pad, complete with pour-in-place rubber, engineered wood fibre, concrete and asphalt paving; and
• planting areas complete with mulch surfacing (prepared by the Contractor for future planting by City of Penticton crews; trees to be supplied and installed by the Contractor).
Substantial Performance for all Work shall be achieved no later than September 18, 2026.
