  This RFI is to identify and evaluate potential vendors capable of delivering solutions for the redesigned Accessible Parking Permit. The envisioned design is a hanging-style permit intended to be displayed from a vehicle’s rearview mirror.
  
  Ontario is advancing a comprehensive modernization of the Accessible Parking Permit (APP) program to create a simpler, fully connected, and digital‑first experience for residents. The future vision is an integrated, end‑to‑end service model that reduces complexity, enhances security, and streamlines the experience for applicants, healthcare practitioners, enforcement partners, and organizations.
  
  By leveraging modern technology, real‑time validation, and user‑centered design, the modernized APP program will become more accessible, consistent, and adaptive to people’s mobility needs. This transformation includes introducing a secure, durable, and technologically enhanced permit, supported by automated workflows, dynamic QR verification, and a redesigned digital ecosystem.
