Description

The Municipal District of Taber (MD) is seeking an appropriate and qualified contractor to complete leak detection services on each of the MDs water distribution systems in the Hamlet of Grassy Lake, Alberta. The successful proponent will be responsible for providing all equipment, labour and expertise necessary to perform acoustic leak detection survey throughout the Hamlet. The goal is to identify and locate any hidden leaks to reduce water leakage and prevent catastrophic pipe failures.


Grassy Lake consists of:
o Approx. 7.6 km of water line
o Approx. 90 valves, 235 curb stops
The successful proponent will be expected to provide a final report including leak findings that include summary tables with severity of leaks detected, negative findings, as well as any other information deemed pertinent.
