Description

It is the intent of the City to use this RFP process to select a single qualified supplier for the provision of the goods and/or services as described herein. The City is issuing this RFP to identify and select a qualified Hot In-Place Asphalt Recycling system (hereafter referred to as “HIPAR”) supplier who has the knowledge, technical resources, experience, reputation and capacity to design, manufacture, deliver and provide ongoing support for a system. The HIPAR equipment must be capable of delivering 100% on-site recycling of asphalt and re-application with no offsite trucking, disposal, or plant processing. The goal is to identify advanced, field-tested technology that supports environmentally sustainable and cost-effective pavement rehabilitation of residential streets within British Columbia and Metro Vancouver. Interested vendors must also be able to provide ongoing support for the Hot In-Place Asphalt Recycling (HIPAR) system for a period of 18 months.
