Description

.1 The City of Calgary is seeking one Contractor to dewater biosolids from the Shepard Biosolids Lagoons and produce approximately 5,000 to 8,000 tonnes of dry solids (TDS) per year as needed.
.2 Dewatering will occur in the Spring through to early Fall with a completion date no later than October 10, 2026 for the first year. Specific start and end dates for each year will be made upon mutual agreement between The City and the Contractor.
.3 The dewatering process must produce Cake with a minimum percent total solids (%TS) of 17.5% as determined using the test results from The City’s certified laboratory.
.4 The dewatering process must achieve a minimum Solids Capture Rate of 90% as defined in Schedule 3 Part E Project Specific Requirements and as determined using the test results from The City’s certified laboratory.
