Description

The primary objective of this RFP is to seek a qualified, safety conscious, responsible company with a high degree of customer service to enter into a written service agreement with the Town of High River to provide only the solid waste collection services. Proposals are required for residential (curbside/lane) collection of waste materials with an automated service vehicle. The Black Waste Bins are provided by the Town of High River, and the successful Proponent can propose a new pickup schedule or continue with the already established garbage collection schedule. The successful Proponent will offer this service to all practical forms of residential units and mobile home parks, excluding some apartments and multi-family condos, which falls under the commercial refuge collection program. All hauling and disposal of solid waste within the Town of High River municipal boundaries is taken to the Foothills Regional Landfill & Resource Recovery Centre (“Foothills Landfill”) located at 434137 AB-783 Foothills County, Alberta T1S 1B6.
